Trancoso is a small tourist town located on the southern coast of the state of Bahia, Brazil.
It is known for its beaches with crystal clear waters and white sands, as well as for its colonial architecture and its relaxed and bohemian atmosphere.
Praça do Quadrado, a stone square surrounded by pastel-colored colonial houses, is one of Trancoso's most famous tourist spots, as is the São João Batista church, which dates back to the 17th century.
In addition, the city has a large number of bars, restaurants and shops that offer a wide variety of artisan and local products.
