Location of Parnaiba

Parnaíba is located in the northeast region of Brazil, in the state of Piauí.

It is located on the Atlantic coast, south of the Parnaíba River Delta, which marks the natural border with the neighboring state of Maranhão.

The city is located about 366 km north of the state capital, Teresina, and about 818 km northeast of the city of Fortaleza.
