Itacaré is a small coastal town located in the state of Bahia, northeast of Brazil.
It is located about 70 kilometers south of the city of Ilhéus and is surrounded by stunning natural beauty that includes white sand beaches, cliffs, waterfalls, and tropical forests.
The city is located on the so-called "Costa del Cacao" due to the large number of cocoa plantations in the region.
