The island of Boipeba is on the southern coast of Bahia, and is a neighbor to the island of Tinharé, where the famous Villa de Morro de São Paulo is located.

The fastest way to go from Salvador to Morro de São Paulo is by catamaran, in a journey of approximately 2 and a half hours
In Morro de São Paulo you have to take a 4X4 vehicle to cross the island to the other end. A journey lasts 1 hour.
From there, a boat crosses the river that separates the two islands, to reach Isla de Boipeba in less than 10 minutes.
Another way to get there is through the city of Valença.
You have to take a ferryboat from Salvador to Itaparica, then a bus to Valença and finally a speedboat from Valença to Boipeba.
