The settlement of Gramado was established by José Manuel Corrêa and Tristão José Francisco de Oliveira, around 1974 when they decided to settle in the region.
These were established in 1875 for the formation of the town, which years later received Italian and German immigration.
These immigrants brought their customs, their work habits, their religiosity, their gastronomy and their culture.
The city of Gramado is very attractive for its cultural diversity and has become one of the main tourist destinations in Brazil.
