Garopaba is a municipality in the state of Santa Catarina, located on the Atlantic coast of southern Brazil.
It is about 90 km south of Florianópolis, the state capital. Garopaba is located on a peninsula and has more than 8 km of white sand beaches and crystal clear waters surrounded by hills covered with tropical vegetation.
The city is known for its calm atmosphere and its excellent waves for surfing.
Garopaba is also a popular destination for hiking and ecotourism, as it is located near several nature reserves and national parks.
