Curitiba can be reached by plane, to the Afonso Pena Airport (CWB) which is 17 kilometers from the city center.
There are different ground transportation options between Afonso Pena Airport and downtown Curitiba. Urban buses run regularly every 20 to 30 minutes to the Boqueirão Terminal, from where it is possible to transfer free of charge to the buses that go to the center.
By car it can be reached from São Paulo by BR-116 South, from Florianópolis by BR-101 and from Porto Alegre by BR-116 North.
Estaçao Rodoferroviária is the bus and train station of Curitiba, it is a large station with 3 terminals (train terminal, interstate bus terminal and intrastate bus terminal).
From the Station there are Curitiba departures to all of Brazil, as well as to locations in Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.
