Vitória is a city located on the coast of the state of Espírito Santo, in the southeast of Brazil.
It is located on an island in the Bay of Vitória, connected to the mainland by several bridges.
The city is located about 520 km north of Rio de Janeiro and about 1,100 km southeast of São Paulo.
In addition to the main island, Vitória also includes other small islands and some parts of the mainland.
The city is in a strategic position for transport and trade, being an important sea and air port.
