Vila Velha is a city located in the state of Espírito Santo, on the east coast of Brazil.
It was founded in the year 1535 by the Portuguese and is known for its rich history and beautiful beaches.
Among its tourist attractions is the Convent of Our Lady of Penha, an old monastery built in the 16th century on top of a hill with impressive views of the ocean.
There is also the Railway Museum, which shows the history of the railway in the region. In addition, it has several beaches, such as Praia da Costa, Praia de Itaparica and Praia de Ponta da Fruta.
To get to Vila Velha, you can take a flight to Eurico de Aguiar Salles Airport in Vitória, the state capital, and then take a taxi or bus to Vila Velha, which is about 10 km away.
It is also possible to arrive by car through the BR-101, one of the main highways in Brazil.
Vila Velha is located on a peninsula in the Atlantic Ocean, east of the state of Espírito Santo, in the southeastern region of Brazil. It limits to the north with Serra and Fundão, to the east with the ocean, to the south with Vitoria and to the west with Cariacica.
