Ilhabela is an island located on the north coast of the state of São Paulo, Brazil, about 200 kilometers from the city of São Paulo.
It is located in the Atlantic Ocean, in the region known as Costa Verde.
The island is approximately 140 km² and is known for its beautiful beaches, waterfalls, nature trails and its rich biodiversity.
Ilhabela is a popular destination for water sports, such as surfing, diving and kayaking, as well as for adventure tourism and ecotourism.
