Ilhabela Island (in Spanish means Isla Bella) is the only Brazilian oceanic municipality-archipelago.
It is located on the north coast of the State of São Paulo.
The island has one of the most rugged landscapes on the Brazilian coast.
It stands out for its mountains. The highest points in the Pico de San Sebastián with 1,379 meters of altitude, the Morro Papagaio with 1,307 meters, and the Morro da Serraria with 1,285 meters.
It is located just south of the Tropic of Capricorn, in the Atlantic Ocean.
