The municipality of Guarapari is located in the state of Espíritu Santo.
It is located 50 kilometers from Vitória and 1250 kilometers from Brasilia.
The name Guarapari is of indigenous origin where "Guara" refers to the Guará red-feathered bird, and "parim" refers to the weapon used by local indigenous peoples to hunt the animal, which was very common in the region.
Over time, instead of "Guaraparim", it adopted the name "Guarapari"
Guarapari is the main tourist city of the state of Espíritu Santo, arrived for its natural beauties and the particular monastic (radioactive) sands, which supposedly have therapeutic virtues.
More than 30 beaches are distributed along its coastline, where you can enjoy tranquility and water sports.
