Arraial do Cabo is a municipality located in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
It is located about 160 kilometers east of the city of Rio de Janeiro and is known for its beautiful beaches with crystal clear waters and an abundance of marine life, which make it a popular destination for diving and snorkeling.
The city is located on a peninsula surrounded by beaches, some of the most famous being Praia do Forno, Praia Grande and Praia dos Anjos.
In addition, the region also has important ecological reserves and sites of historical interest, such as the Church of Nuestra Señora de los Remedios.
