Angra dos Reis is located about 160 km southwest of the city of Rio de Janeiro.
The most common way to get there is through the BR-101 highway, which connects Rio de Janeiro with São Paulo.
From Rio de Janeiro, you can take a bus to Angra dos Reis, which takes about 2.5 hours.
There is also a train station in the nearby city of Barra Mansa, which offers connections to Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
In addition, it is possible to arrive by ferry from the island of Ilha Grande or from other coastal cities in the region.
