Santarem is located in the northern region of Brazil, on the banks of the Amazon River.
The most common way to get there is through the Santarem International Airport, which receives flights from several Brazilian cities, such as Brasília, Belém, Manaus and Recife.
It is also possible to arrive by river from nearby cities, such as Belém and Manaus, by ferry or tourist boats.
Highways are another option, although road trips can be long and exhausting due to distances and road conditions.
