To get to Rio Branco, you can take a flight to the Rio Branco - Plácido de Castro International Airport, which receives direct flights from some cities in Brazil such as Brasília, São Paulo and Manaus.
It can also be reached by bus from nearby cities such as Porto Velho and Cusco (Peru).
Rio Branco is also a stopping point on the Ruta Transamazonica, a highway that crosses the Amazon jungle and connects Brazil with Peru.
