To get to Palmas, the capital of the state of Tocantins in Brazil, it can be done by plane from several Brazilian cities such as São Paulo, Brasília or Goiânia, through the international airport of Palmas - Brigadeiro Lysias Rodrigues.
It is also possible to arrive by bus from various Brazilian cities, including Brasília and Goiânia, through the Palmas bus terminal.
The city also has a central train station, although train service in the region is limited.
