There are several ways to get to Cuiabá, the capital of the state of Mato Grosso in Brazil.
The most common option is by plane, through the Cuiabá-Marechal Rondon International Airport, which receives flights from the main Brazilian cities such as São Paulo, Brasilia, Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte. There are also direct international flights from Miami and Santa Cruz de la Sierra in Bolivia.
Another option is to arrive by bus, since Cuiabá is connected by road with the main cities of the country, such as São Paulo, Brasília, Goiânia and Belo Horizonte, through interstate highways.
It is also possible to arrive by car through the BR-364, one of the main highways in Brazil, which connects Cuiabá with Rondonópolis, Cáceres and Porto Velho. The city also has a public transport network made up of urban buses and taxis.
