Caldas Novas is located in the state of Goiás, in central Brazil. It borders the municipalities of Rio Quente, Morrinhos and Marzagão, and is about 170 km from the state capital,
Goiania. The city is located in a mountainous and forested region, near the Parque Nacional da Serra de Caldas.
Furthermore, it is about 1,100 km southwest of Brasília and is easily accessible by road or by the local airport.
