The populated city of Boa Vista, is the capital of the state of Roraima, located on the banks of the Branco River, it is totally north of the Equator line.
The radial urban layout was planned in 1944 by the civil engineer Darcy Aleixo Derenusson.
The city was founded in 1890 and is considered one of the youngest cities in Brazil.
The city has tourist attractions such as the Anauá Park, the Municipal Market and the Garimpeiros Monument.
In addition, Boa Vista is an important commercial and service center for the Amazon region, which gives it great economic dynamism.
